Shady Lane School and The University of Pittsburgh School of Education Applied Developmental Psychology present “The Meteorology of Play”; a symposium on the significance of play and play facilitation AS IT RELATES TO positive growth and development across all life stages.

If we are to assure that young children receive the care and experiences that will prepare them for the future, we need to be sure caregivers recognize the impact on the development of current societal contexts and caregiving practices, recognize their causes and that their practices address particular challenges facing children and families today.
